WW1 British canteen MINT!

Article about: This is a fine British canteen in incredible condition , complete with canvas carrier. Markings are present as well as the original cork and wool covering around canteen itself. Opinions are

    Early WW1 Waterbottles had the cork retaining string stitched directly to the cover and not through an enamel loop adjacent to the neck. There is an excellent Armourer Magazine article on waterbottles that I will dig out and try and narrow the date for your Waterbottle.

    As regards value I would say not more than £10.
