Default WW1 Doughboy helmet - question on insignia

Recently an American Doughboy helmet fell into my hands.
Could anybody help to identify it?

The helmet has a 7D 53 heat stamp on the brim.
The liner has a square ink stamp on the inner side (I cannot read the manufacturer).

Besides the pot has a very very faint markings on the outer side that I noticed only some time after the purchase.

There is an inverted triangle on the right side of the pot or a shield image (with a bit rounded sides). The triangel was supposed to be of two colours white (or yellow?) and red (?). On the left side there are some letters ?Q.

    I would appreciate any help.

Welcome to the forum! The 7D 53 are maker marks and I think steel batch numbers. Photos of the helmet would be very very helpful. It's hard to go off of just written information. We are very visual people here and love photos. The more the merrier!

Here are some pictures. Of the helmet itself and of the markings.
Unfortunately cannot make better pictures, because the markings are really very faint, still visible.

The ink marking on the liner is illegible anyhow. Just to show that It has a square shape.

    Thank you

    Here it is!
The lot number on the brim says ZD 53 or 7D 53. Though I did not attach a picture of it.

As I said the markings on the pot are hardly visible, but still can be seen in the pictures. On the one side it is like an inverted triangle in white and red colours (looks like that). On the other side there is a letter Q (?)

The ink stamp on the liner is ilegible. The only tip it is square.

I don't profess to know much about this but what you are describing could be shown below (314th MG HQ battalion).

There seems to be a good thread on these helmet markings here.

Thumbs up Re: WW1 Doughboy helmet - question on insignia

Thank you for the thread. Great!
It seems I have finally found the ghost image that appears on the helmet. Here it is. I circled it in green.
The last thing is to identify the exact company withing this 80th Division.

It will be the HQ Company, it looks to be HQ painted on the other side of the helmet.
