This is a post war ww2 helmet use in Israel.
I have always wondered, how does anyone speculate a WW1 doughboy helmet to a pre WW2 one? Does the stamping on the rim indicate it's age and manufacturer? I have one that starts with Z and some #'s (can't remember because it is in storage) in quite good shape. I see many for sale on Ebay and have different stampings on them and the seller is usually unaware if it is WW1, WW2 American , British or other country. Any help here?
