A note on the mounted medals...

Recently, George Studley's son in law was at the OMSA convention, personally looked at the medals and confirmed that the ribbons, mounting and the box were indeed George's work and was most likely done in 1944 or 45 time period. This fits, as Lomison received all of his official medals in 1938. If you don't already know, George was very involved in medal mounting services from the 30's -50's, and produced a catalog and price listing of different services and items offered.
