    this rather nice card came with a Belgian trio of WWI period postcardsmedals I bought a couple of years back, also a collar badge was included, I don't know the chap's name so I can't authenticate the set.

    Many thanks for the additional info, he was quite a guy !, my gran's brother served with the 1st West Yorks but sadly died of his wounds in may 1918.

    WWI period postcards

    Bought this one some time ago from a Canadian historian. Shows WW1 Canadian soldiers and their German Prisoners. Post Card issued by the Daily Mirror Canadian Official Series, "Photograph passed by Censor". I thought the tank in the background really made this photo. thanks for looking.
