WWI US Army Tunic

I had just received this today in the mail. It is a WW1 Army Sergeant of Engineers Uniform. It has what appears to be a Victory medal ribbon with battle star and another ribbon I can't identify.
Could anyone help with this? It will look good in my WWI section.

NY 71st Infantry Regiment E Company? Possibly an Engineer Support Unit for the NY 171st Infantry.

I'm wondering if this is a French made uniform. I think they made the pocket flaps in this design. The other ribbon could be a victory ribbon for the specific state.

The ribbon maybe for the first incarnation of the French "Services Militaires Volontaires" in silver (the star device).

The pocket flap is the standard design for the US tunics of the period.

Interestingly, the building depicted in most US Engineering insignia still stands and is located in NYC at Fort Totten in Queens, it is currently in use by the local historical society.
