MAP, yes it is. My cross-town friend collects primarily cavalry from the Imperial, Weimar & TR eras, much of it with provenance.
(His basement is a literal museum of German Cavalry history, 1900-1945).

I believe the blue piping indicates a medical officer.

Actually, there is some controversy to these visors.
They were originally sold as Geheime Feldpolizei, but the GFP would wear Beamte (admin) visors (ie, dark green 'farbe).
It is believed they are for something transport related, ie, Transportkorps Speer, but that is just conjecture.
There are many fakes of these, but I have seen some originals.

I will say, that my wife would never let me leave the house if I was wearing an outfit that combined these brown, blue and green colors... (or maybe she would and let me suffer)

Just my opinion...but a fairly garish looking combination! Very un-Third Reich'ish

I got a kick out of this:

So did I, but he needs 'spellcheck' before going to print....

He missed a ‘ d ‘ in “Started”, and a couple of other spelling errors,
see “assassinations and governments, and traveler is the US spelling, and not here”. 

I can be soooo pedantic at times !!
