F-B, I am referring to the late-war caps only with the flat front to the peak (ie, no bulge)--the curved seam is often seen on them (like the artillery Schelly above).

Wolfgang, I have seen a lot of curved seams on 43-45 caps--I attribute it to late-war sloppiness.
Everything is possible in late-war hats. In this case I'm not too sure as these curved seams are caused by the templates which are curved at the front seam to produce a more "bulgy" front (for which some padding would have been necessary, without padding one gets a "flat" front - perhaps this explains the late war Schellenbergs - curved seam, but no more [sufficient] padding for lack of materials.) Cp. the two different templates for the Seitenteile below:

Pleuser is back: Bernhard Pleuser GmbH - Hat&Cap

After the disappearance of the homepage I was already afraid that another one of the old firms had gone but they seem to be back!

I think he would if somebody ordered them - I suppose what they call "Cornit" is Vulkanfiber.

By the way: Leo is a gifted cap-maker, see for yourselves (he allowed me to show you these pics): (sorry that they are not in the right order, can't change that)

Thank you very much Master for the nice compliments. I thank you again that I may be in the forum here. But I'm still a beginner who still has much to learn.

I'm very sure with the right visor and the emblems, these caps will look like original.
    Perfect for movies.

    Ladies and gentlemen.

Today I tried to sew a German police visor cap size 52.
All I need is a visor to finish the cap.
