A pre-war M-36 Feurwehr NCO visor by Pekuro.

Hat is distributed by Josef Reger of Weiden.

Hat is mint, unissued, and the body is doeskin. Pekuro had the most vibrant carmine of any maker--theirs is almost a "hot pink" (compared to some of the more reddish/purple of other makers):

would the flecked cord on this cap also be considered an Original for the freiwillige feuerwehr?

I'm not used to collecting pekuro caps, the one above is my first. It had no insiginia so It had to be rebadged. I had a feeling the cord was kinda 'thrown on'... But anyway, since I don't know much about the history of pekuro, could you confirm this is an Original TR cap? I have my doubts because with its 6 holes, the imprints do not match really well with Original TR insignia... Early post war fire caps can be a minefield... this is how I got it from ebay:

Definitely Third Reich era. It could have been used postwar by any volunteer fire department.

Chincords also fit the hat, so imho, they are original to it.
