Me gustaria to know the opinion of the gentlemen experts about this hunters' crushing Gebirgsjäger

I want to buy but not sure if it is an original cap?

The cap is not a true crusher. It is a standard cap that has had the silver officers chinstrap removed. It appears to be an Erel made of trikot material. MY guess would be that it is an original in well worn condition. Depending on what the price is I think it is a hard to find Gebirgsager cap that would be welcome in anyones collection.

I am concerned about the piping. It looks like it might be re-dyed . The green does not look consistent in color. Also condition is poor; look where the rear of the cap band is separating from the top. I'd wait for a better example - it will eventually show up.

Also there worries the back torn part, and also to know that it is not a good original crushing .
