“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Another rare water-related organization--a visor for a member of the DRB Hochsee- und Bodenseeschiffahrt:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Probably the lovliest Reichsbahn visor in existence--a DRB General visor with the very rare bullion insignia.

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
This is a terrific site dedicated to the Reichsbahn.
They have some lovely color pics, as here.

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
OK, back to the more mundane stuff.
This is a late-war unissued middle-ranks visor by Pekuro.
Note the rayon band; the lack of bottom piping; and the use of a political M-39 eagle (not uncommon--see pics)
Last pic is a comparison of an earlier M-41 with the velvet band; metal schwingen; and bottom piping.

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
This is an M-41 General visor equivalent for the top pay grades.
It was probably made in 1942. It has a doeskin wool top with celleon piping.
The interiors of these were very spartan.
Maker is Clemens Wagner.
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
This one is a late-war unissued General's visor (I would date it to late 1944).
The body is rough re-processed wool with the Bevo wreath.
Hat is also made by Clemens Wagner (although unmarked).

Courtesy of M. Aubin, the significance of the chincords explained:
