    Im glade here that there is one that i got my eye on Ive been told it is an officers cap metal cockade red filed with a white Adler on the side i will try to get some Pics of it tomorrow looks just lkie this one but real clean with all the frills of an officers cap

    Also note that this in not an early cap, but a wartime one when the SA was being mobilized to defend the Reich...

    I agree. The example shown is missing a triangular patch on the left side which would have had a silver eagle with a SA Gruppe color background.
