    Thank you TWS for your input. Please find below the best i could do to get a clear image of the sweat shield. I believe the cap is from 1937 era cape make with an Erel logo from period . Please may i have your thoughts . Thank you

    Nice erel, looks just fine, might even be earlier then 1937 in manufacture looking at the diamond celluloid and cap band colour.....before 1936 ? Good cap to own. cheers Tony

    I believe that is the logo that Robert Lubstein used starting in 1939. IMO the cap band color also supports it. Erel artillery officer cap
