With excellent conditioned caps like the one above, the lacquer* on the visor should and would be shiny. Glossy, even. As that is how it was. With age they turn more Matte. I think it is standing out more because of the light. I don't see anything wrong with it but of course a better photo could help, perhaps.
There are, indeed, examples of such caps where the lacquer endures in perfect shape.
I'll try to set up some additional photos.

Hat looks legit, but IMO, the Edelweiss was added postwar.
Piping may also be Beamte--Erel used a lighter shade of green for Beamte as compared to other makers.

Mr. Mint has written what I intended to do. I do not believe that the Paspel is the Jaeger shade of green, that of the Heeresbeamten.
Well done tableau which also suggests the variety of shades of field grey, another hobby horse of mine.
OP is definitely Beamte. Here is a nice Jaeger for comparison.
