The only thing I can comment for sure on is Fil. Bachhagel - this refers to Filiale Bachhagel - obviously the distributor had a branch in Bachhagel.
What concerns the other questions: cap cords could be original to the cap, they could be tightened by pulling the ends toowards the knots.
The cap itself looks OK from what I can see: the inner coating of the top lining seems correct, the sweatband too, (no PEKÜRO perforation on it) but the specialists will tell you. I have a similar piece in much worse condition. The holes in the centerband caused by the badges are another question to be answered by the specialists - there seem to be too many from what I can see but perhaps the cap was used on after war - as was mine.

I have just checked the cap in the Moran/Maguire book. The twin of yours is to be found on pp. 60/61 - same red-flecked chin cords, same "Roßhaarverarbeitung" without lining. Taking another look at your cap with a better monitor I noticed the impressions of the cap cords which originally seem to have fitted tightly, so yours are perhaps a replacement - or just loosened. The other thing are the holes of the badge and its impression. Hopefully the specialists can tell you more there.
