What is interesting with the early ErEl caps is that many peaks are handsewn to the body as is the case here. It would be interesting to know the reason for this - the ErEl company certainly had the special sewing machines which could sew sweatband and peak to the cap at the same time. Perhaps this is one of the caps that they outsourced - either for Heimarbeit (the "cottage industry") or to other, smaller, cap makers. Anyway, a nice cap.
