Gebirgsjäger schirmmütze?
Hi guys, i am planning on purchasing this nice visor cap.
It has a replaced visor, and an added post war sweatband.
Other than that is fine IMO.
The question is can we be 100% sure that the pipping has the correct green shade that matches the one of the GJ branch or could it be an administration cap instead?

Better close ups of the replaced visor and the restitched and glued sweat band.

I would opt for Administration, rather than Gebrigsjager.
Also, I do not like the overall construction of the cap itself, but this maybe the fact that it has the extra eidelweiss badge on the front.

I agree, Beamte. With the (crude) repairs, not even a 500 dollar visor, imo.

The price is fair but this is not the issue. I would prefer a GJ one to match it with my officer's tunic. Pity.
