Gendarmerie Schirmmutze
At last, I have been able to find a Gendarmerie visor cap that meets with my overly fussy standards.
This arrived last week and is in very well preserved condition.
It is either an Officer grade cap or an upgraded Senior NCO cap. We see these caps with 2 different styles of csp eagle, the (mostly) private purchase 2 piece eagle or the single, stamped metal examples, of which this cap has.
