Here is a little "Same Plane" for you.
Here is a little "Same Plane" for you.
The cords have the typical metal sleeve at the slide, and feel cold when held to the cheek. I've kept them on it, as that is how I received the cap - and like you say, reverse-turned cords are not all that common. I haven't checked the width nor the length, as I am not familiar with how that could indicate Post-War/DDR made cords. What should one keep in mind when looking?

Same plane w/ a peak like Mt Everest:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Welhausen again:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Thanks, ErWeSa.
Appears it was a good decision, not succumbing to the temptation to change 'em out.
wartime Gendarmerie Officer wearing a "same-plane" visor with a killer peak:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
"same-plane" being worn by the Officer (it appears to be a standard visor with the extra-cost leather peak w/ the cords removed):
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
This wartime Schupo Officer by Balke has it:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
