Good evening gentlemen,
I've got to say now that I have the cap back in my hands what a sterling job Tony has done. You would never know that the peak and the cap had ever parted company. I've picked this cap up with a view to stitching it back together myself a hundred times since I found it. Thank god I always put it back on the shelf and in the end left it to an expert.
I don't think I'll make such a lucky find again but you never know!
Cheers Tony, thanks for all your help and all the best for your book launch at the end of the month.
Ian.
cheers Ian, it was a pleasure. Not doing the work, that's a tough job but seeing the cap back in it's full glory is worth the effort.
Also pleasing that you got a bargain as a fellow collectors we celebrate your good fortune ! You lucky........................
cheers
tony
