re attatched insignia it appears, surely?

The wreath is machine attached and the eagle is hand applied. Many eagles on this type of cap appear to be hand applied by my observation.

I think the wreath is mashine attached to the piece of the felt, that is normal practice of some of the flatwire officers insignia, but in any cases IMO a good mid war example with originally attached insignia
