Your still a jammy perisher !!!!!!
Yeah, jammy sod!
HI Mo,
Great cap - and for me especially so because I have an NCO's side cap with a similar " non-textbook" soutache - one that wraps under the edge rather than tucks in. I'm happy to see another after some time hearing that only those that tucked in are genuine. I'll start my own thread as I don't want to hijack yours but these 'private purchase' caps with their unique features are a joy to see ....... thanks & congrats on a cracker find!

Thanks guys, but I'm not too lucky yet... I want to make sure that this is what I think it is. I will get outside pics in natural light in a bit.
Well, this is the best picture I can get of it. I wish you all could see this cap in person, the piping is very gold and that excites the hell out of me. Words cannot describe how happy I am right now. What do you all think of the piping from the photo provided?
I think I see gold based on those pictures but only a hands on will confirm....................fingers crossed for you !
Mo, that combat tunic may yet be a reality!!!!
cheers
tony
It could be.....
Cheers, Ade.

I really hate getting rid of this cap, but I want a Heer combat tunic more. It is now up for trade only in the classifieds.
Not wanting to rain on your parade, but you should keep the cap and wait to get some field blouse at some other juncture. If this cap is that of a general officer, it is much more desirable and worthwhile. Also, with field blouses and such you stumble into this put together problem, which is now endless.
