“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
In the glory of the cold war, the Bw Kleiderkasse was in Koblenz, one of the great garrisons of the old Bundeswehr. I still have things I bought there in the 1980s.
The Bw has just introduced a new camouflage uniform. It is a kick in the pants to find the image of the Budapesterstrasse in 1939.
The young man in Mr.Mint's image is dressed in the summer uniform, which was generally worn by Bw troops trained in the US in their number.

Interesting shipping box from the KK for a black overseas cap.

Preisliste der OKK.
Bravo. Please show us more. I have not seen this item.
Bravo, und vielen, vorzueglichen Dank!
The caps were rather expensive, and the language of the catalog is different from the army catalog.
Thanks so much for the fine data.

I owned a very nice junior ranks navy blue cap, which I sold to Shea. I should have kept it. It is the only one I ever owned.
Talking about Heeres Kleiderkasse catalog, i own a 1937 one in my collection and noticed that it lacks of many important items like clothing ready to use (Feldbluse, trousers). My question is: it weren't possible buying a Feldbluse or other clothing ready to use inside the OKK system?
