Special features : soldiers can now open the flaps and use them for protecting ears during winter time. Insignia is usually Feldgrau. the top of the Feldmütze is now made of one piece of cloth.

Adopted in June 1943, the famous "M43 cap"...here with trapazoid insignia
Special features : side eyelets are discontinued, cloth loops for ear covers are added....the bill is made of carboard covered with wool.
