I agree with Wim. Although the cap was made in Munich, there is no reason to believe that would limit the cap being issued in the same area in which it was manufactured. An order placed with a manufacturer could be shipped anywhere.
Well said and one sees caps from one part of Germany used in another all the time. I am just fond of the maker Breiter, as they are under appreciated by the slavish
fashions among head gear collectors who fancy themselves in the know and aren't.

Maybe I do not understand you well, but Hochland had lighter blue.
Maybe the cap was used at the Reichsführerschule or any other SA
school or camp.
A look-a-like cap as this was shown in volume 3 on page 591. The
color red often indicates a staff member of a camp or school.

No inconvenience. We want you to be a successful collector and we are very assertive about our goals, ways, ends and means.....
Good luck with your collecting!
PS Thanks to Wim for marshaling all this very difficult material in such a fine book. No such books existed when I was a beginner in the 1960s, except for Bob's
aid to the Bozich book, which is the pioneer. The moderator made a list of cap books, but book that confine themselves merely caps are not sufficient. You must understand German political and military history, and a lot about civil military organization in huge detail. My point of view is not shared by most, but without a knowledge
of politics, society, economy and culture, you won't get far with these things.
