Welcome to the forum. No brother stay away wrong material, construction, shape, interior lining, and visor. Postwar piece with TR Adler adler and cocade added to increase value. Kindest regards.

Edit: I spoke perhaps too quickly it's closer than I previously thought. My concern was the cap body looked to be cotton but with a closer look it's wool. However the grey sweatband is typical of postwar visors and I still believe this one is but I'm happy to be corrected. Best regards.

I agree--it is a postwar BRD visor rebadged with TR insignia.
Not a good one, sorry.

Gentlemen,
KM is not my line of business, but: sometimes one doesn't see the obvious.
If this is supposed to be a KM officer's cap, what about the visor/peak? Shouldn't there be some embroidery at the edge?
stonemint was quicker (again), you can ignore my post!
Hi Wolfgang--
NCO's did not wear peak embroidery, only officers:

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Well... The story was probably too nice to be true... Price was not too high (but not that low either), seller was a private collector who lived near Brest in Britany... Too bad...
Those NCO caps are so difficult to find... (sigh)
Thank you to all of you for your help... Very much appreciated.
