Picked up this interesting Artillery peak cap for someone with a peanut size head , Thinking maybe a display piece ?I have shown the Luftwaffe cap to show the size

Maybe a kids hat , you do photos of kids in small sized headgear . Nice item

Nice hat ! Although the eagle is not original to the cap,
a smaller period bird would suit it better - even if
it were not an exact Heer type..........

Are those straps on the sides?

At first I thought sales man sample, but if these are straps I would say it was for a baby/kid....or maybe a pet monkey!
