Not sure if it is me, but are the hat insigina is suppose to be like that? Looks.....flat. Where did he get this? The origin could help. I have never seen a cap like this, the insignia is like this: A hat guy can give you a most definite answer.
This is a Crusher style cap with Bevo insignia not bad for a first sale !!

I think your friend has a winner there. Usually when you find a Generals Crusher there fake, but this one appears to be a rare original..
Certainly has potential...
