The collar tabs in the photos appear to be much darker and not the same as this cap. Always possible these photos were "added" to the visor. Would be interesting if we could get a close up of the sleeve patch and tabs.
I honestly can't tell what the color is . My first thought was just a very very dirty or nicotine stained white but the rest of the visor is clean. It does not appear to be the typical brighter "flight" yellow that you typically see
I'm also not familiar with this maker but compares favorably with other examples I have just pulled up (I do not know this dealer so can not vouch for them). So assuming these are legit, the more subdued "yellow" piping on yours does appear to be close.

Thanks MAP,
I will try to post some additional pictures sometime tomorrow! I have a tough time getting some decent photos on my phone... Might have to invest in a camera... But a super thanks for your post!
Hopefully Stonemint, ErWaSa or others will be around to correct me if I'm wrong on anything.

And even a $50 point and shoot camera will take much better photos than most cell phones.

It's actually not an officer's cap. It is an enlisted/NCO cap. Officer's would have silver cap cords and silver piping. Officer's caps did not have branch piping, rather all were piped in silver regardless of branch. The piping does appear to me to be correct Luftwaffe signals brown.
The soldier in the photos is also an NCO. High ranking NCO or "Unteroffizier mit portepee", meaning he is authorized to carry a dagger - as he is in the photos. He's also wearing a white top "summer" visor cap so def. not the one the OP purchased, but he would have had a regular one too as the white top was only authorized for certain uniform wear and not all the time.
Hat is an original EM/NCO private-purchase visor by an uncommon maker (which has still not been identified to this day).
Hard to tell if Signals or Flight from the photos provided--need better pics.
Nice cap, either way.

Here is a comparison of Flight (yellow) and signals (brown)
