Luftwaffe white visor cap

Hello, dear colleagues!
I cacthed this recently, and I would like to hear other opinions.
Cap is undoubtedly original, but silver braid ( I think that that's the word) is single. To be honest, I've never seen single one.
Oh, and it looks like the eagle was metal. Everything else is on the photos...

The silver cap cord is incorrect. Finding a correct replacement should be possible. Please show us the cap when you have restored it to it's former glory!

Are you sure about silver cap cord? I am beginner in things like this, but cap is almost attic find...

Ade is correct, the chincord is wrong, but you can usually find them for $30--getting the right size will be the tough part, and even harder will be finding a white-backed LW eagle (which I have seen sold for up to $750).

Hat is real, except for the cords.

Gentlemen, it seems that you've been wrong about the silver cap cord. The cord is original!
How? Well, the cap belonged to member of Croatian Air Force (ZNDH). Cords like this were attached on caps up to the rank of major. Fellow collector has pictures of men with caps like this one.
Here is one I found on Internet.
