m-38 hat

Hello Jay, the cap is an m34, not an m38, which was only for officers.

They sure got carried away sewing the insignia on.

Can you post pics of the grommets from the inside?

I would pass on it if offered to me. I think the whole thing is a repro. Ben has already mentioned the insignia, and I don't like the air vent grommets or the lining.

As I implied earlier, the insignia application is not original, and the others have pointed out its other faults

Hi Jay,
looks like fakers have gone the extra mile and learnt how to make stamps closely resembling originals but that's about the only thing that could fool on this one...if they only knew how to make a 24hrs fresh stamp look like a 70yo one...I know a couple of tricks but I sure won't tell!
The cap ain't good dude...leave it where it is and look for something else!
May I ask how much they're asking for it?
