Thanks for getting back to me. Just wondering.

Hello,
In my opinion, as i wrote it in my first post, this Feldmütze may have been reworked during the war (double size stamps, eyelets...) and its soutache was removed by regulation...a very nice and desirable headgear. I do own two of these Feldmützen, the first one is 1935 dated, with a nice marking for the 6 Kompanie of Infanterieregiment 55 and it's stripped...i would like to reapply the same insignia than yours but they're difficult to find...the second one had its soutache also removed but it was produced later, IMO circa 1940 or 41 (markings are long time gone...)...
A real nice piece of Heer headgear you have there...
Thanks

Thanks JPhilip. I like it a lot. I have been looking for one for a while. I would have loved to have it unit marked, but this will do. I always learn a lot on the forum.
BTW., I still use your books quite regularly.... Very helpful.
JPhilip .... Any educated guesses what the T. 1 might represent? It intrigues me.
