    Its amazing its been about 60 years since the war and there are still people out there making hats the way they were made back in the day. This is very neat

    As I mentioned in the other thread; its amazing that craftmanship like this survives in the modern world.

    I dont mind dropping some bucks on this artisan! I was looking at his collection and I am for certain that I will be buying from this man. Even the sport cap, i know some chicks who would dig that! Thanks for the link. Ironic, i was wondering how this was done the other day (by hand i mean).

    It's actually kind of scary! Have this guy make a 'private purchase' cap, age it, and presto- the perfect fake!

    If I did a Heer impression I would definitely have this guy make me a cap.

    I dont think, thats his line of work

    Truth be told, you dont need him for that; sadly, there are fakers out there, who are very adept at making aged caps for those who desires that kind of thing.

    This 'salty' enough for you? (no pun intended)
