Note that the DDR VEB maker, Emhage, had an address at Neue Konigstr 89--this was the previous address of another hat maker, Preiss & Loth Mützenfabrik

....which may well have been "aryanized," i.e. put out of business and cashiered by the Nazis.

You can add the name to the data base of aryanized firms. Berlin North East was the Jewish garment district of Berlin in said epoch.
