This is my first visor cap and I'm very happy. Hope you enjoy it too. It's a Luftwaffe NCO/EM Hermann Göring Infantry Division and has an early pattern Luftwaffe Eagle. There is a Robert Lubstein Trademark and is size 56cm named to Feldwebel B. Schücke. Wait for your comments.

Well...the body of that cap is good, but the green visor...

but the peak is likely an addition from somewhere else.

Our Ben VK and Mr. Spandau are cap restorers of the highest craft.

I am sure they have ideas of how to restore what is a rare cap.

I would love to hear their opinions about this one. Opinions of Mr. Spandau, Ben VK and Stonemint are always very valuable. I bought this cap from a very respectable dealer and I was not expecting any problem.

The visor is most certainly replaced, but it would not be difficult to restore an original visor to the cap...

Thanks for taking the time to look. Most HG seem to have been marked to the unit from those I have seen, though probably not always.

Hat body is good, but the visor appears to be a postwar replacement.

I have to agree, sorry to say. The peak is not the original one but the rest of the hat seems to be totaly authentic. Very well done for your first cap which is uncommon and quite valuable even in this condition.
