    This just arrived yesterday. A salty, repaired WSS officer's visor with replaced original insignia. It's not a 10k visor for sure, but I'm very happy to have this in my collection.

    That's a nice cap. What a good start to the year.

    Erich, I agree with my namesake and the others. It's a great cap that now has a great new home. Your next task is to find two black SS caps with leather chinstaps. Give one a place in your excellent collection and give the other to me for my birthday. Please note that I'll also take the more ostentatious example for officers with velvet and twirled aluminum. ;-)

    I appreciate your thoughts on this visor Ben, I was pretty sure it was good. For me, the hats history pre-45 and post '45
    is what I enjoy contemplating.
