Mystery Visor

I just picked this up. It was sold to me as Reichsbahn, which I know it is not. The body a midnight-blue, with the same color band.
The piping is not orange, red or pink, but a peach color--first time I have seen this 'farbe on any TR hat.

I usually just classify these as Tram or Kleinbahn, which this most likely is. However, if anyone has any definitive information, let me know.

I did find out a little bit about the maker. ALMI stands for Aloyse Mies, who made primarily LW tropical overseas caps and uniforms for the Luftwaffe. They were based out of Koblenz. However, in 1940, when the Nazis invaded Luxembourg, they appropriated a Jewish-owned clothing factory in Pfaffenthal, and apparently made uniforms there until 1945. Prior to the war, and after, it went by the name Vestimenta:

That is the Kaiser Wilhelm monument in Koblenz.

That is the Kaiser Wilhelm monument in Koblenz.

..which stands at the confluence of the Rhein and Mosel at the Deutsches Eck.

Koblenz was and is a major garrison town. The monument to Emperor William I was erected later in the 19th century to commemorate the foundation of the II Reich. I spent a long and happy time in Koblenz with my colleagues there and it is a place I cherish.

The Prussians built a large fortress on the Ehrenbreitstein that overlooks the meeting of the two marvelous rivers.
