I will take good care of it. They treated it with great care and did not put it on shelves with icy water. I will not mention "them" again.

A very nice example, are you sure there is no trace of any markings upon the sweat shield? Maybe it's just a reflection but I think I can see some evidence of a makers logo. The foil print on some of these hats have disintegrated long ago.

As far as I can see, it has no traces of a stamp or mark, I have been looking for one behind the sweatband as well. I will examine the cap tomorrow when the light is better.

It's probably just a reflection. I guess it would be an OKK (Offizier Kleiderkasse der Kriegsmarine) sourced hat and therefore totaly correct to have no maker marks.

This would be my theory, as well. All the navy caps I have owned were devoid of maker's marks.
