Congratulations. I write books for a living, and know all the heartache it does cause.
The field cap book from your publisher is very good, save for being slightly overwritten, but the pictures are excellent and the whole thing very laudable.
Those who cannot write a clear English sentence (which is most on line persons...) to say nothing of a coherent page can think twice about their critique.
I await your book, and congratulate on being published.
Hi
I finally have a copy in my hand !
Here is a picture of my hand to prove it
After many a sleepless night the printers have finally delivered......some, 10 copies to be precise. More are promised within the next two weeks as they have a slight backlog on another print run, so I guess if you would like one for Christmas please let me know.
I will visit the post office to get the postage rates and then put an advert on the forum with pictures of some pages and the contents page to give a better idea of whats in the book. The book is retailing for £30 from military mode publishing but for forum Gold members they are £25.00.
Please PM me if you would like to order a copy.
cheers
Nervous Tony
Congratzz Tony, Looks like a fantastic book and I cant wait to get a copy .
Cheers, Patrick
Nothing to be nervous about, Tony--I can judge it based upon your contributions on the forums alone. Congrats on having the wherewithal and stamina to attempt such a monumental task, let alone see it to fruition--many others have tried and failed (yes, I am including mois). Do you realize that yours is the first headgear book to deal exclusively on visor caps?!
I am eagerly looking forward to my copy, as I know we all are over here.
