I just received my copy directly from Tony, and I would like to congatulate him on a job well-done! Tony has traced the development of the visor cap from 1880 to 1945, and has succinctly noted the various changes in regulations (of which there were many) during that period thru the use of not only actual examples, but diagrams (with measurements) as well.
As I have stated before, visors cannot be studied in isolation, and to truly understand them one has to follow the history of their progression, and in this Tony has more than succeeded. No serious student should be without this book.
Congrats again, Tony!
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Sounds like an excellent book, cant wait to read it. Well done Tony
Cheers, Patrick
Forgot to mention, I had mine too a few weeks ago!
I liked it very much indeed!
(exept for the editor!! But that's a peronnal thing, nothing to do with the quality of the information!!)
Like I stated, nice job, Tony!!
