    Default NSKK M43 Cap ...

I've seen this on the "regimentals" dealer website

    http://www.regimentals.co.uk/viewpho...h=65980&phqu=5

I've searched on here but there's nothing close I can find, comparing to existing M43's and comparable HJ/DJ caps it looks good, but I can't find anything exactly the same.

Wim, please forgive me, but I still haven't managed to get vol.5 yet

I'm not in the market for buying, just interested in it as a cap in itself.

    Thanks in advance.

An unusual cap I have never encountered before. I have seen them in reed green and black but never brown. With the hand embroidered eagle, I would expect to see silver officer crown piping. It possibly could be from on of the Todt or Speer groups which wore a myriad of uniforms but I would approach this cap with caution.

I do agree with Bob. Have not seen this type of cap before and it is
for me the question is it really NSKK? The closing of the flaps is not
a regular fact! I remember once having see this with a photo, but
I cannot remember if I have such photo in my file.
In some ways it looks as a Schuldienstmütze, but I am not even sure
this is a NSKK cap, as this cap form always had a button in front. I
must say I have not seen this style for wearing by Org. Todt either.

It is surely a variation sort of headgear.....But for what and who?
I have seen many hundreds of forms of TR headgear, but as far
as I remember, a form as shown, was not amongst them!

Thanks both for the quick response!

I'm just curious really as to what type, if any this cap is, to me it is period made, but its just my opinion and just wanted to learn more about it.

Hoping for a definitive answer maybe difficult, I couldn't find one in a period photo.
