I'd go with the knife if I had to purchase of any of these.
Some of the hats are too rough for me, and out of my collecting sphere.

But there are much nicer examples of HJ knives out there
if you are patient and shop around.

For $400 or slightly less, you should be able to get a really great example
of a HJ knife - complete, with no problems or broken parts.

Personally, I would go with the Luftwaffe winter fur cap. It's just my cup of tea. You should go with whatever makes you happiest.

The Heer fur cap is my choice.

It has no condition issues. It is not cheap but is nice.
