Original police M43?

Hello Gentlemen
I believe this to be an original police M43 ? but I know nothing of the interior stamps ... any opinions would greatly appreciate

It's n o t an "M43", it's a mountain cap (Bergmütze) as per specs of Sept 1942 (ie no piping in the branch-of-service colour and woven insignia). My "M42" Polizei mountain cap has the peak lined with cotton fabric as well. It looks as if a three-colour cockade was removed from the top of the crown, no big deal. The maker's stamp is as any other. Nice item.
