Osteinsatz Officer visor, one of only a couple known. Published in several books on headgear.

As I said on the "other" forum, that is one killer kap. Most do not realize just how rare these are--there are only 2 oin the world. By the time they were instituted (I believe May of '44) the Wehrmacht was in full retreat, which didn't allow for their full implementation.
And the ones that were made, didn't survive the Russian steamroller.

Indeed, truly rare and "rare" is a much over used word in this hobby. I think many collectors would just glance at it thinking it was a standard political leaders cap and not notice the important differences in colour.
