That is a Janke fake, I believe. The maker is a fantasy name taken from a gas station or something similar, actually.

    Attached is a real one....

    Sorry to disappoint you.

Grenadier Militaria in So cal has a nice, real, named cap for sale....

F_B your comments are never a disappointment, i wish my English were as good as yours. All the items i'm posting this evening are from an auction due to start next week and i'd thought i'd run items past the experts here, regards

Thank you. I hate to be negative when people have a right to hope for a nice, authentic piece. The crown on this Janke cap is akin to the Empire State Building and/or the effects of Viagra. I suppose such are the wishes of the fakers.

As I wrote below, Bruce Herman has a very nice, real cap for sale attributed to a figure in the Legion Condor.

Best of luck in your search.

If you want a subtle, rare and actual Pz cap before the Panzerwaffe even existed, then people of taste cannot resist this piece here....

The above piece is far from junk.

Someone should give it a caring home, free of moths, uv rays, filth, et cetera.

Another view of a Pz cap, but no longer my property... I should not have sold it, really. It was a very nice cap. Notice the wonderful crown piping. No cap faker can duplicate this appearance of textiles....

Thank you. It actually came from a noted Chicago dealer much reviled on other sites, but who sold me sound material at the beginning of this decade. I then sold it to others, who can now enjoy it.

It was a very handsome piece.

    Greetings to the UK.
