Police visor device: authentication please.

I'm wanting to sell/trade this item but first would like it authenticated (as well as can be not in hand) here on the forum. Height is 45mm, width is 54mm. Item is constructed/stamped from aluminium.
I can't remember if I must be a paid member to sell in the selling area, or if it's open to everyone. In any event, I've donated $ here in the past and would gladly do so again if it will help. I've several items I wish to sell in the near future inc. unissued/uncliped SS bevo eagles and totenkoph.


Any help appreciated.

looks like a good original police cap eagle. The prongs are broken off so that makes a bit dent in the value I'm afraid.

These don't fetch many dollars....sorry.

Thanks Tony, that's ok I understand the ding in value over the prongs. What I'm needing (it's more expensive of course!) is a HJ leader's visor device. It's for a friend who owns a beautiful visor cap w/ no insignia. I've looked and can't even find a picture of the device by itself; front and back. I guess most are on caps!
