Hello all,
I haven't spent much time around here but intend to do so more often from now on.
Very hard to pick a favourite cap from my little collection. I love both of these caps for differing reasons. The Officers because it is a beautiful example of a Robert Lubstein, well worn and showing great character. The panzer due to it's lovely fading and general "Afrika" look.
Nothing like an Afrikamutze in my eyes.

This beautiful signals soutached tropical cap could very well have been up there with the two already posted but, alas, it will no longer be a part of my collection. Despite paying the UK dealer for the cap in full very quickly after it was advertised (Just this last week), he accepted a higher offer from someone else and sent the cap to them instead. If I ever find out who the buyer was I will have words.
Erich Bergmann signals soutached Afrikamutze, it would have made a wonderful addition to the collection.
