Vogelsang was occupied prior to the end of the war. It became a U S Army headquarters. The American soldiers evidently had free access to the store rooms. It appears that these hats all were unissued as many I have seen have RZM labels attached with a string to the side button and also wrapped around the chin cord. Those unissued ones found without the tags likely had the tags removed by the soldiers. I have vet purchased several of these from veterans and in two cases, they also had schiffen and field caps stamped Ordensburg Vogelsang, which helped confirm the source.

FYI, this is the only non-Clemens Wagner lemon-yellow piped Form 4 I have seen, made by RZM #20 (cannot recall who that is right now).

Rare to find any PL visors with their original box. Here is one for a Pekuro--note the box is shaped to accommodate the peak of the hat:

Photographs of Form 4 Ordensburgen uniforms in wear are very uncommon.
These are the only 3 I have been able to find so far. If anyone else has any Form 4 Ordensburgen uniform pictures, please post here.

This is rare--an Ordensburgen Leader's overcoat from Krossinsee on the HH auction. Piping appears lemon-yellow (also pictured is his tunic, w/o the boards)
