Default Regiment General Göring Visor Cap

The one single piece of head gear that I came back from the SOS with. This purchase concluded a multi-year search to find an appropriate visor to accompany my RGG Flak NCO tunic. It is not only a cap from the RGG, but also from a Flak Batterie so it fits the tunic really well. A few of the stitches holding the visor trim have popped so that the trim has curled up , but it is otherwise a wonderful example. 1937 dated with the appropriate early eagle.

T, thanks for posting--that is one righteous cap, and a fantastic complement to the tunic....

PS--you need to give the hat/tunic the "crosstown friend treatment"!

Yes, they are both being displayed separately in my war room right now. But you are 100% correct. I need to suit up a mannequin to display both together.

Doesn't get much nicer than this Todd. Another one checked off your list! Congrats.

Just checked. My '36 is "II Rgt General Goring 9th Batt". Close...but not the same.
