    Thank you, Ade. I share your thoughts on this type of headgear. In photos and film, it was represented as almost ubiquitous, yet, today we see relatively few examples. It is a unique shape and it dredges up, in my mind, images from Riefenstahl's propaganda films of the Reichparteitag.

    Thank you for a nice site where we can share our bits of decaying history with other students of the past.
